EDHEC's Employment Brochure Published in the News

NIKKI HARLE February 7, 2006

One of the many initiatives taken by EDHEC Business School to bring its students closer to recruiters is to send out a brochure promoting its students to its many business contacts.  The employment brochure produced by Ms. Daphne Sfeir, Programme Manager of the MSc in Finance and MSc in Risk and Asset Management, was even published in Alternative Market Briefing the most widely read daily publication on hedge funds.

EDHEC Business School strives to provide maximal support to its students in their professional career, especially through the difficult first steps of an international experience.  In order for students to gain maximum profits from the School's reputation and its connections in the business world, an employment brochure for the MSc students has been created and distributed to major companies. This project has been launched in addition to the actions and services of EDHEC's internship office.

The employment brochure was emailed to more than 75000 contacts of EDHEC's Risk and Asset Management Research Centre including leading executives and companies in the field of finance and asset management.  These are people who already know the high quality of EDHEC's research center and are keen to know more about the School's students and their potential.

The brochure includes detailed information about the students, their capacities, their specializations, general characteristics of the programmes and information on the School.  The brochure explains how the academic excellence, expertise and advanced research work of EDHEC's professors help MSc students perfect their academic knowledge and prepare their professional career.

Professor Sfeir is delighted with the positive reactions that she has received from companies from all over Europe.  She is convinced that EDHEC's long contact list will enable the MSc students to find both sought after jobs and internships in major companies throughout Europe.
