The 400 strong class of 2006 put on their gowns for their graduation ceremony last week which was held in the UNESCO building in the heart of Paris, not far from the Eiffel tower.
Many of these graduates had travelled from all over the world to accept their diplomas in person, watched by an audience of 1000.
Mr Vincent Cheney, President of Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, France, the sponsors of the Class of 2006, awarded the degrees in the presence of Mr Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC Business School and other members of the Board.
After graduation, in a ceremony dominated by women (7 out of 9), awards were given to the best students from each discipline. In addition a special prize of 1000 euros was given to the author of the best thesis.
A champagne cocktail rounded of the award ceremony giving a last chance for the new graduates to say goodbye to fellow class mates and school staff before moving onto their professional life.
