"After recently completing a BSc in International Business and French at Aston University in the UK, I wished to continue my studies at EDHEC Business School in France for a wide variety of reasons. First of all, I wanted to gain a specialisation in a specific area of business after having studied a general business degree.

I also wished to return to EDHEC, after having already spent an extremely interesting and fruitful year on the Nice campus as an exchange student, following the first year of the Master in Management programme. Finally, I wished to live and work in France in the near future and believed that a degree from a top French business school such as EDHEC would help me to achieve my goal.

During my time on the M.Sc. in Strategic Management Programme I have had the opportunity to meet and work with students from a number of different cultures. I have had not only the chance to make a lot of new friends, but this experience has also allowed me to build and enhance my intercultural communication skills, something I believe to be essential in today's global economy. Another great point that attracted me to the M.Sc. was the variety of learning methods used. On the Strategic Management course, there is a heavy emphasis on case study analysis and group work, which has helped me to develop my analytical and team working skills.

As a Francophile, Nice was also the perfect environment to immerse myself in the rich French culture. With beautiful scenery, great weather (even in January it is often warm and sunny; a rarity for a Brit like myself) and the chance to sample local wines and cuisine, it really is the ideal location.

Hopefully, this M.Sc. programme has given me the skills and knowledge I need to launch an international career. It has certainly been a rewarding experience."
