Georgi Karaghiozov"I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Business in 2001 and I immediately started working in a managerial position in Protech AD, a major engineering company in Bulgaria, my native country.


As I began advancing professionally, I began to realize that the undergraduate degree I had could only provide me with enough background for a starting professional and to advance further I was expected to increase my knowledge and become an even better and faster thinker, capable of approaching business problems from a variety of perspectives so I started researching various business programmes.

I was looking for a reputable business school with strong competencies in management, good links to the business community and one with a highly international environment and alumni network. EDHEC came to my attention as a top management school in France. 

The programme manager was very interested in my profile and described the course programme to me in detail. I was pleased to discover that the practical and cross-functional approach of the Master of Science in Strategic Management programme was ideally suited to my future career aspirations.  In addition, the location of the school on the French Riviera promised many exciting and pleasant experiences for the next ten months!
I am currently completing the first trimester of my programme. I already feel that the instruction I am receiving from my professors and the discussions with my fellow programme participants are helping me to round-off my understanding on many business-related subjects. I highly value the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with people coming from as many as 37 different countries. I find the international exposure in EDHEC exciting and stimulating. I appreciate it as a learning experience that will help me build an even better understanding of the world as a global place in which to work and live.
