As Assistant Project Manager working in a specialised Task Force Team, I was responsible for studying new markets in Asia, and recommending a course of action to the marketing department. Working in the B2B market, we sold financial services surrounding the car industry and we developed and coordinated the marketing strategy for the newly developed markets. At the end of my contract, I decided to return to my home country where I was recruited by Ogilvy Advertising as a regional (Asia) Communications Executive. I am now part of the Global Team dealing with the Pond's brand of Unilever and am involved in the different phases of the delivery of a campaign to the client.
The Advertising Management course in the MSc in Marketing Management programme has proved particularly useful to my career in advertising, although the other courses were very applicable to working in an international team too. EDHEC offered me a specialised Marketing diploma, as well as an international background and French language skills, all of which provided me with an interesting profile that attracted Ogilvy and secured my position within the company.

Having worked in marketing for over 9 years, I decided that it was about time that I supplemented my practical experience with an academic qualification in the marketing field. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take a sabbatical year from my job, and I was keen to use this to increase my employability. Read next page
